Our Mission: To provide fundraising opportunities for local non-profit organizations while celebrating the Tigard community.

Welcome to the event that celebrates the community of Tigard! The 35th Festival of Balloons in Tigard will be held June 26th - 28th, 2020. The hot air balloons are definitely the featured attraction of the Festival, but ... its MORE than balloons! The Festival is a place for families and friends to gather, play and relax. Join us in the pre-dawn hours as approximately 20 hot air balloons launch into the morning sky (weather and pilot permitting). Spend the afternoon shopping at the craft and vendor booths, eating great food from local food vendors, and enjoying thrilling Funtastic carnival rides and games. Of course, it wouldnt be the Festival of Balloons without the ever impressive Night Glow presented by Walmart on Friday and Saturday nights (weather permitting); the Rogue Beer Garden, Live Music on the Main Stage Brought to you by Pizza Hut. NO ONE OUTPIZZAS THE HUT; Twilight Run at Dawn, Saturday morning, Festival of Cars presented by Landmark Ford Lincoln on Sunday, and a whole lot more!

The Festival of Balloons is a non-profit organization raising funds for many non-profit groups in Tigard while providing a premier family event for the entire community. Following the 2019 Festival, $50,000 was raised by the following groups: Tigard Breakfast Rotary, Tigard Lunch Rotary, Foundation for Tigard-Tualatin School, THS Boosters, American Cancer Society - Tigard/Tualatin Area Relay for Life, THS Band and Auxiliary Parent Association, Mountain Wave Search & Rescue, Tigards Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Southside Soccer, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, Just Compassion, THS Intercambio Clubs, Meals on Wheels, Mustang Wranglers, and more.
