Morro Bay Art in the Park is now in it's 65th year. In 2015 longtime professional art promoter Steve Powers signed a long term contract with the Morro Bay Art Association to manage the entire event from top to bottom. He quickly upgraded the group of exhibitors and weeded out all imports and buy and sell items that had crept into the show during the early 2000's. Mr. Powers added a large advertising budget and increased attendance by 300% in the first couple of years. The Morro Bay Art in the Park shows only have enough room for 100 exhibitors. There is a re-sign up rate of nearly 70% each year so only 30 booths open up for each of the three shows. High end sales in all categories has turned Morro Bay Art in the Park into one of the best selling shows in Central California.
