| Description: | From Passaic County Fair Website: The Friends of Passaic County Parks, Inc. in partnership with the Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders hosts the annual County Fair at the Garret Mountain Reservation. This year the Fair will be held August 15 to August 18, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Highlights include two fireworks shows on Friday and Saturday, amusement rides, a petting zoo and pony rides, Chess Tournament, a full four days of bands, and a daily 50/50 drawing. Thursdays are Family Day at the County Fair, and it is the only day you can purchase a wristband for access to unlimited rides.
