More than 140 Art & Craft Vendors
The Wylie Arts Festival is the perfect opportunity to cross some names off your Christmas list or simply treat yourself. Stroll through the art and craft aisles in the FBC Wylie Event Center and shop from the vendors hand-picked by the Public Arts Board to ensure a diverse, unique selection of quality handmade fine art and craft items. From jewelry to home dcor to clothing to paintings to gift items you will not find anywhere else, there is definitely something for everyone.

Festive Foods
Historic downtown will be filled with more than just the sights and sounds of the holidays on Dec. 2; the smell of festive food will be in the air as well. Choose from your favorite fair foods including funnel cake, kettle corn, turkey legs, corn dogs, tater twisters, sausage on a stick, and funnel fries. Stop by and check out the selection.

Children's Activities
The children's area will feature a selection of inflatables including a bounce house, slide and obstacle course provided by First Baptist Wylie (fundraiser). Kids can also have their face painted or help paint the community canvas. Check out vendors' wide selection of handmade children's items.

Tree Lighting
From 5 to 7 pm, it's the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony featuring Mayor Eric Hogue's reading of "The Night Before Christmas" in Olde City Park. Join us as we enjoy songs of the season with local choirs and bands and throw the big switch to light the community Christmas tree.
