Fourth Saturday in July -- Karns Community Fair & Parade! The parade starts at Ingles on Oak Ridge Highway at 9 a.m. (Participants in the parade should come about an hour early to line up.). The parade proceeds to Karns High School where the Fair will start at 10 a.m. Oak Ridge Highway from Ingles to Walgreens, and Byington-Beaver Ridge Road from Walgreens to Karns High School, will be shut down shortly before the parade begins and will re-open shortly after the parade is over. The Karns Community Fair is the longest running community fair in the State of Tennessee and has something for everyone.
