Description:

From 49th Annual Apple Butter Stirrin' Festival Website:

The Apple Butter Stirrin' Festival offers three days of family fun and a variety of entertainment. Over 100 craft and food vendors line the street, displaying a number of handcrafted items and a variety of mouth-watering food choices. Visitors may sample the sweetness of homemade apple butter hand-stirred in a huge kettle over a wood fire and tap their feet to the tune of a variety of musical performances.

Costumed crafters and interpreters await visitors in the beautifully restored living history buildings. The hands-on activities are a great source of family fun, and participants take home their handmade memories. Visitors may also meet Characters in period dress strolling amid the festival and engage them in conversation.

Roscoe Village retail shops offer an array of gifts, including Ohio-made items and Village artisans' handcrafted products. Come join us for a step back in time.

Smell the fresh apple butter simmering over an open fire as you stroll through the street to the tunes of bluegrass and music from days gone-by. Events throughout the weekend include Living History Tours, Spirit of Roscoe lantern tours (Friday & Saturday only), canal boat rides, and a children's activity area.

Admission cost is $5.00 for guests 12 years and older. This fee includes admission to the Living History Buildings. Members of the Roscoe Village Foundation and children under 12 get in free. Parking is free.
