Asian Celebration 2018 plans to focus on new activities around the academic disciplines of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). Education that fosters these disciplines is of great importance to the Asian Celebration. For that reason, the plan is to showcase a number of STEM activities that are currently happening at our local schools. By celebrating local achievements in STEM, the Asian Celebration, in partnership with our school districts, hopes to broaden community interest and awareness at an early age. Doing so will help increase opportunities for young students to get involved in these disciplines and achieve STEM success in high school and beyond.
