ELWOOD GLASS FESTIVAL, AUGUST 17-19, 2018

The Elwood Glass Festival located in Elwood, Indiana is the pride of the community and one of the leading festivals in Central Indiana. The Glass Festival has been Elwood's largest annual event for 46 years.

The Elwood Glass Festival is organized by the Elwood Chamber of Commerce with sponsorships from local businesses and help from countless volunteers from the community. It is held annually, the third weekend of August, from Friday through Sunday.

The festival is a tribute to Elwood's unique, beautifully crafted, hand-blown art-glass produced in the community's two art-glass factoriesThe House of Glass and Prestige Crystal.

The glass festival includes a parade, carnival rides, a quilt show, arts and crafts, collectibles, food, bus tours, demonstrations, photography and other fun contests. The Vintage Rollers Car Show brings more than 300 classic and antique cars each year. Live bands and other entertainment perform at the Jim Knoop Amphitheater at Callaway Park.

The free Bus tours are available daily during the festival and include The House of Glass, Prestige Crystal, Venus Chocolate Shop, Prestige Crystal Art Glass, and The Historic Elwood Opera House as their destinations.

The Elwood Glass Festival is an event the whole family will enjoy. Admission is FREE!
