Description: | At least 30,000 people usually attends this two-day event that celebrates the cultural heritage of the African American community through performing and visual arts. Festival site is located in a historical African American neighborhood at NW 5th Ave, also known as Seminary Lane. Features traditional African American and modern dance performances and concerts including African, blues, jazz, rap, rock, R&B, and gospel. Vendors! Vendors! Vendors! There are still space left. Call us now. Single booth space is 10 feet deep and 15 feet wide. Tables, chairs, and etc. must be provided by the vendor. Artist Selling Original Art Food Vendors All Other 2 Days $160.00 ___ 2 Days $210.00 ___ 2 Days $170.00 ___ Trailers 2 Days $300.00 ___ Electric power is available but limited. Please indicate here if you wish to reserve electrical power. We will accommodate as many as we can to those who get their application in on a timely basis. If you are receiving electricity, you must bring your own continuos power cord that will extend from your vendor area to the power source. Entertainment | This festival includes local and international artists showcasing and selling their work. There is also local and national bands featuring traditional African American and modern dance performances and concerts including African, blues, jazz, rap, rock, R&B, and gospel. This year's headliner is Main Ingredient with lead vocalist Cuba Gooding, Sr. There will also be a big Gospel Contest as well with a prize pack worth over $5,000. | ||
Activities | There will be a wide array of food and drinks being sold. Nice music of all rhythms and genres of the Afro drum will also fill the air while different strokes of art occupies the surface. | ||
