Hot off the grill and Hot of the stage, thats the way youll find the pork dishes and entertainment at the upcoming annual Virginia Pork Festival located in Emporia, VA and held on Wednesday, June 14th 2017, from 4-8pm. The Virginia Pork Festival is one of the East Coast's largest food festivals.

The Virginia Pork Festival has for decades combined outstanding pork dishes with continuous live music, from five stages, to make this an event not to be missed. Like the outstanding food, this year's music line up is nothing short of fantastic. Live entertainment at this year's festival will be The Embers, Strictly Bizzness, the Feature Attraction Band and Soul Expressions.

For 43 years the crowds have swelled to over 15,000 at each event and the crowds continue to come back for more every year. We consider this a compliment to our chefs and a testament to the quality of the event.

Although the primary goal of the Virginia Pork Festival is to promote the pork industry, the festival is a nonprofit organization that provides local clubs and civic organizations with an opportunity to raise funds for their respective groups. Over the past four decades, over one million dollars and counting has been donated to: Hospice, Shriners, The American Red Cross, area civic, rescue and fire departments, and many others. It should be noted that all dishes are prepared and served by these groups, all of whom make the festival a great success for the local communities.
