Wings and Wheels Spectacular
Aug 6 - Aug 7 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Classic cars, WWII Warbirds and assorted aerobatic performances will headline the Museums most impressive event of the season. The Wings & Wheels Spectacular is the Museums longest running annual event; the inaugural airshow, known affectionately as The Rally, was first held in 1975. In 2015 the airshow drew a crowd of nearly 5,000 spectators throughout the weekend! Free kids activities and Model T rides ensure that there is plenty of fun for the whole family at this cant miss event!

Gates open to the public at 9:00 am; exhibitor gates open at 8:00 am both Saturday and Sunday. The show will go on rain or shine, and a variety of indoor demonstrations and activities are planned in the event of inclement weather. All pre-1996 vehicles and all organized automobile clubs are welcome to exhibit free of charge. Exhibitors and one guest get in free. Clubs wishing to arrange parking are encouraged to call ahead. The aerobatic airshow will begin at approximately 12:30 pm both days of the show, and pre-1940 aeroplanes from the Museums collection will be demonstrated in the morning prior to the start of the aerobatic airshow. All flying is weather permitting. Following the conclusion of the aerobatic and warbird performances an open flightline will commence so that visitors can check out the aircraft and visit with the pilots.

In addition to the large display of assorted classic, vintage and antique vehicles on Runway 17, an array of family activities offered throughout the weekend will include demonstrations of vehicles from the Museums collection and free Model T rides.
