The San Diego Jazz Fest will take place at the Town & Country Resort Hotel, located on "Hotel Circle" in the Mission Valley area of San Diego. All performance venues are on the Town & Country property.

The festival begins with a dance on Wednesday evening prior to Thanksgiving from 7:00 p.m until 11:00 p.m. Food and drink will be available and two bands will perform. Thursday afternoon, the Town & Country will offer their renowned Thanksgiving Champagne Buffet in the Convention Center, where diners will be serenaded by live jazz. Thursday night, several bands will perform in the Town & Country Room of the Convention Center from 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. On Friday, the music begins at 10:30 a.m. and continues until midnight. Saturday runs from 9:30 a.m. to midnight. And, Sunday's schedule is 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The 36th San Diego Jazz Fest will salute our friends in the Swing Dance community with a special "Swing Dance Extravaganza" on Saturday night, Nov. 28, 2015 at the Town & Country Resort and Convention Center. Warm-up sets start at 3:15pm and there will be non-stop music from 8:15pm-12:30 am. The featured bands will be Stompy Jones (above left) and Jonathan Stout and his Campus 5 (above right) plus there will be a special demos with Joel Plys & his Hang Ten Hoppers. Both bands are renowned for playing perfect repertoires and perfect tempos for dancers, yet each band has a unique style and approach to Swing music. Don't miss the "Battle of the Bands" between these two great groups and the swing dance compitition.
