The four day Memorial Day Arts and Crafts show displays quality handcrafted items and fine arts. Approximately 100 vendors sell high quality photography, jewelry, woodworking, watercolors, sculpture, clothing, and much more. Several food vendors keep the crowd satisfied with a variety of ethnic food as well as shaved ice, burgers and hot dogs. Free musical entertainment is provided throughout the weekend. The show is held annually in the Bishop City Park. This show runs in conjunction with the Mule Days Celebration, which brings an estimated 30,000 people to Bishop each year.

Every Memorial Day weekend since 1969, the town of Bishop, nestled on the eastern slope of the majestic Sierra Nevada mountains, comes alive with the annual presentation of the Mule Days Celebration. The outfitters and packers of the region wanted an event to start off the packing season and the businessmen wanted to draw vacationers to the Owens Valley. What began as an informal gathering and a test of skills, has now grown into a fun-filled,world class event.

At the park, there are a number of food vendors and a lovely creekside park setting, which attracts many visitors and keeps shoppers lingering at our shows.

Bishop is located in the beautiful High Sierra on Highway 395, about 5 hours north of Los Angeles (280 miles) and 4 hours south of Reno, Nevada (203 miles).
