One of the park's favorite events is back for a second year. The Back 40 Music Festival features a lineup of Tampa Bay Area's finest local bands with musical flavors for all kinds including Americana, Reggae, Rock, Folk and Blues. Food is provided from local food vendors and artists and crafters are on hand with all styles of hand-made items. A beer garden provides refreshing adult beverages, (beer and wine), courtesy of the Friends of Little Manatee River State Park. This music event is entirely outdoors in one of the most scenic and tranquil areas of Hillsborough County giving participants a musical experience they will not forget. Shuttle rides are available for anyone seeking assistance to and from the parking lot and event area.
