Downtown Dunedin - between Louden Avenue and Broadway Main Street Dunedin, FL 34698
November 09, 2013 - November 09, 2013 - CONFIRMED!
From 22nd Dunedin Wine and Blues Festival Website:
This signature event for Dunedin is an upscale event combining top notch blues music from all over the country with wine from all over the world. You can taste wine from more than two dozen vineyards spanning many varietals. Music is performed on the main stage at Pioneer Park starting at 5:00pm and running continuously until 11:00pm. This event draws a more mature audience of mainly couples and singles though families are in attendance as well.
According to the Pinellas county sheriffs department, attendance at Wines the Blues has been in excess of 30,000 each year for the last 10 years increasing steadily over the last 19 years of its existence. Attendees begin arriving to set up in the park as early as 4:00pm and the bulk of the attendees spend three to five hours at the event which enjoys the largest crowd from the hours of 7:00pm 11:00pm when wine service and main stage entertainment ceases. The largest demographic for this crowd lies in the 25 65 year old category. This event is hoping to grow in scope and size over the next few years into a two- or possibly three-day event.
The Festival will be held on Main Street in Downtown Dunedin. The street is closed down to all but foot traffic from Alternate 19 to Loudon Ave. There is ample parking, both street and lot parking, surrounding the closed-off area. The main stage will have space for sponsors banners and sponsors have the option to utilize their booth space, which is part of the sponsorship package, to offer promotional materials and or goods for sale.
Dunedin Wines The Blues is promoted by the Downtown Dunedin Merchants Association and the City of Dunedin's Community Redevelopment Agency.
There will be a variety of foods from local restaurants including beverage and art and craft vendors will be spread out along Main Street. Some visitors for this Dunedin Event may want to dine out at one of the many restaurants located downtown.
