The 14th Annual Havana Pumpkin Festival will be filled with talented artists offering face painting, pumpkin decorating, story telling, balloon decorating, and a stroller parade with toddlers dressed in full costume, and much, much, more!
Festivities will kick off with an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast. Be sure to dress up your pet and participate in the in the Doggie Costume Contest sponsored by the Gadsden County Humane Society. In addition, join us at the end of the day and participate in the children's and adult's costume contests with prizes. A king and queen will be chosen from the children's entries to preside over festivities held later in the year during December's Holiday Festival & Lawn Mower Parade.
The Pumpkin Festival will be a fun-filled day of activities that will include pony rides, an obstacle course, train rides, hay rides, a bull ride, and others. There will be all types of food vendors, crafts, jewelry, pottery, antiques, and artwork to choose from. And don't forget to visit the fabulous pumpkin patch where you can purchase that perfect pumpkin or two!
The festival begins with the breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and ends with the live performances. Proceeds, in part, are donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Relay for Live organization.
