| Description: | The 32nd Annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Amherst Crafts on the Common will be held on the beautiful Amherst Town Common on Saturday, July 14th from 9:00 am â 5:00 pm. The Fair will feature approximately 120 artisans with all handmade crafts, childrenâs activities, food booths hosted by a variety of wonderful local and regional restaurants, a shady picnic area, a wonderful Silent Auction, a huge childrenâs book sale, music and entertainment throughout the day. The Amherst Crafts on the Common Fair benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County, a program of CHD. | From the North Take Route 91 South to Exit 24 at South Deerfield. Take Route 116 South to Route 9 East to the center of Amherst. At the intersection of Route 9 and South Pleasant street, take a left so that you see the Amherst Town Common on your right. Continue on South Pleasant Street and pull into the second parking lot on your right, just before the light in the center of town (at the Bank of America). Proceed to the opposite end of the parking lot to the Registration Table to check in. From the South Follow Route 91 North to Northampton Exit 19. As you exit Route 91, take a right and follow Route 9 East to the Center of Amherst. At the intersection of Route 9 and South Pleasant street, take a left so that you see the Amherst Town Common on your right. Continue on South Pleasant Street and pull into the second parking lot on your right, just before the light in the center of town (at the Bank of America). Proceed to the opposite end of the parking lot to the Registration Table to check in. From the East Along the Mass Pike Take Mass Pike to Palmer Exit 8. At toll booth, ask for a copy of their directions to Umass Amherst (These directions are ready for distribution courtesy of the Mass Pike). | |||
