| Description: | From 12th Annual Wellfleet OysterFests Fine Arts & Crafts Fair Website: The Wellfleet OysterFest began in 2001 as a way to bring the townspeople together to raise money
for a scholarship/grants program that supports & educates others about Wellfleet?s shellfishing
industry and other town endeavors. The ?Fest has become the Outer Cape?s most unique and
popular fall festival attracting around 18,000 visitors last year, with something for everyone. We
feature fabulous food from local restaurants, multiple raw bars, great music, children?s area, road
race and the famous Oyster Shucking Contest. Plus much, much more
