| Description: | Created by and for the community, the Norway Arts Festival is a three day event held in Norway, Maine. The Festival starts on Thursday evening with a focus feature, Poets on the Porch X this year, and continues with the street dance on Friday night, and through Saturday with the Norway Sidewalk Art Show and myriad events and performances held along Norway's historic Main Street. The Festival also has several ancillary events including the Norway Library Used Book Sale, events at the Norway Historical Society and Library, and the Norway Triathlon at Lake Pennesseewassee. All events are free and open to all ages. The Festival events happen on or near Norwayâs historic Main Street. In order for visitors and festival participants to enjoy their experience, Main Street will be open only to pedestrian traffic from 9amâ4pm from Whitman Street to Lynn Street.
