Quilts constructed from this pattern will be displayed and judged at the annual A Mountain Quiltfest scheduled in Pigeon Forge for March 11 - 15, 2009. The winning quilt will receive a purchase prize and this quilt, along with copies of the pattern will be submitted to Friends of Great Smoky Mountains National Park for display of quilt and sales of patterns.rnA Mountain Quiltfest is an annual event celebrating it 15th year in 2009. More than 25,000 people participate in some way during the event with some 800 taking classes offered by nationally-recognized expert quilters. More than 300 quilts are displayed in the events free-admission exhibit.
